A quarry is a type of open-pit abundance from which rock or minerals are extracted.

Quarries are principally used for the benefit of extracting erection materials, such as immensity stone, setting aggregate, riprap, sand, and gravel.

They are often colocated with literal and tarmac plants fitting to the requirement representing large amounts of party in those materials.
